PC SOVORO FAQ

  • ・ Go to "Settings" and check the device in "Input"
  • ・ To start the service, you need to click the green start button in the upper left. Please check the operation status.
  • ・ If Settings> Privacy> Microphone>"Allow apps to access microphone" is "Off", change it to "On".
  • ・ SOVORO service uses the Internet network to receive text-to-speech text from the server. If the internet connection is unstable, the accuracy of the subtitles may deteriorate.
  • ・ In the case of laptop, check if the audio input setting is set to the built-in microphone of the laptop itself.
  • ・ If the noise and background music are mixed in the voice, the recognition rate may decrease.
  • ・ SOVORO uses artificial intelligence voice recognition technology that improves performance as users' experience increases. Over time, subtitles will become more accurate.
  • ・ With using SOVORO Dictionary function, you can further improve the accuracy of subtitles.
  • ・ In order to recognize sounds played on a PC, such as Internet lectures, you must set the input method to "Stereo Mix'. (Select Settings->Input Method->Stereo Mix)
  • ・ SOVORO uses artificial intelligence voice recognition technology that improves performance as users' experience increases. Over time, subtitles will become more accurate.
  • ・ You can check the purchased time and remaining time on "My Page" on the website.
  • ・ The remaining time is also displayed at the top of the app.

  • ・ You can find and activate Dictionary function on "Settings" menu.
  • ・ If you register frequently used words, technical terms, academic terms, etc. in "SOVORO Dictionary" in advance, the recognition rate and recognition time for those words will be further improved.
  • ・ Activate Dictionary function by checking it on the "Settings".
  • ・ Words of similar types can be organized in individual dictionaries and named separately. You can register up to 1000 words per dictionary.
  • ・ Yes, you can login to one account on multiple PCs and use PC SOVORO at the same time. The time charged in your account will be deducted.
  • ・ Channeling function is a function to remotely view the same subtitles on other devices (PC, smartphone, tablet PC) other than the PC that is running PC SOVORO.
  • ・ In order to use Channelling function, it is necessary to open a channel first. To open a channel, click "Settings->Channels->Open", enter the desired channel name in the "Enter Channel Name" field, and click "Create".
  • ・ To see the subtitles sent to the channel, go to the "SOVORO Channel" on SOVORO website(sovoro.kr/channel) After accessing the menu, enter the channel code you opened.
